Mark 10
Then he embraced them and blessed them, placing his hands on them. Mark 10:16

Jesus wants to embrace you. To be embraced, you must leave your comfort zone
and enter His territory, viz., the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is not like the
Roman Empire. It is very different from such a place. It's a place where we can feel
infinite security. It's a place of eternal love. It's in Jesus' arms. When He takes us in
His arms, we are, indeed, in the kingdom of God. Little children don't hesitate,
unless they are hindered, to jump into Jesus' bosom. They don't care if their faces
are covered with saliva, mucus, or boogers. If Jesus is standing there with His arms
open, there they go. Disciples may rebuke them, saying, “Hey! Clean up your mess!
Blow your nose, at least, for Christ's sake (literally!)!” But Jesus doesn't care about
those gross things that are on them. He will gently wipe away those dirty things off
their faces, place His hands on them, and bless them. This is embracing faith. In this
faith, the power is passed on, from faith to faith, and our faith is strengthened. Then,
He will ask, “What do you want me to do for you?” And we will no longer ask Him for
worldly riches or social status. We'll probably say the same thing as Bartimaeus.
“Rabbi, I want to see.” Yes, Jesus, I want to see...
I want to see You.
