The Gospel According to Ray

The vicarious faith in Jesus knocked the door of Hell
which opened its mouth as the "great fish" did to Jonah (Jonah 1:17).

How did it contain the true Believer? It could not!

He did not go there to be destroyed. He went to destroy
the last enemy, i.e., death (1 Corinthians 15:26).

Jesus is risen! He conquered death. Death has no power
over this man. Yes, this "Son of Man." In His humanity,
death can do nothing. It still holds power, however,
over His "brothers and sisters," so He is still at work
in the Holy Spirit to subdue it
until it becomes His footstool (Hebrews 10:13).

The vicarious death of Christ is at one with the faith.
This faith in Him, Christ's faith, is the vicarious faith
that is, that alone is, accepted by the Father.

This faith of the true Believer will be, in fact, our faith
when you and I believe in this man.

Yes, it takes nothing more than believing.
But it is a miracle when you can believe.

Believing is not as easy as it is spelled out
when you come to think of it.
How many people do you really believe?

Three? Two? One? None? Why?
Because people lie?

Well, I have good news.

There's one who never lies.
In fact, He is the truth (John 14:6).

His name is Jesus.

If you hear His voice that says,

"I suffered and died for you,
because I loved you, then,

and I love you, now,

and will love you, forevermore."

Believe Him. Believe in Him.

Your life will be changed once for all, forever.

Mark 15
